If the contractor fails to provide services for reasons other than those described in sections 4. 0, 4. 5 and section 6. 3, the contractor shall not charge the agency for the services not provided. if the contractor fails to provide sign language interpreting services after confirmation has beenreceived by dla, as described in sections 3. 0 3. 1 for reasons other than the reasons described insections 4. 0 4. 5 and section 6. 3, the contractor shall not charge the agency for the services notprovided.

Interpreting personnel must possess a current, valid interpreter certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and uphold the code of professional conduct (CPCO). all interpreting personnel must possess linguistic expertise in both american signlanguage asl and english to provide fluent communication and cultural mediation between employees.
