This solicitation is for the repair, overhaul, or alterations of the USNS Medgar Evers. Work shall be performed at the contractor's shipyard, located on the U. S. East or Gulf Coast. The contract includes various line items for services (Category A) and physical security/continuation of services (Category B). The proposal submission deadline is September 15, 2026, at 01:00 pm local time. The contractor must possess capabilities in ship repair, quality control (ISO ****: **** equivalent), and adhere to stringent configuration control procedures.

The contractor must be capable of performing the full scope of the requirement and possess industry certifications such as MSRA, ABR, or ISO certification. The contractor shall be a company recognized as engaged in ship repair work and possess an organization capable of the full scope of planning, engineering, quality control, shipboard offship production and componentsystem testing and trials. The contractor shall possess industry certifications, such as, msra, abr, or iso certification, that would further emphasize thecontractors ability to perform the work.
If the contractor fails to deliver within the specified time, liquidated damages not exceeding $156,**** per calendar day of delay may apply. if the contractor fails to deliver the supplies or perform the services within the time specified in this contract, the contractor shall, in place ofactual damages, pay to the government liquidated damages not exceeding 156, **** per calendar day of delay.

Failure to submit a proposal within the three 3 day period for AGR may permit the ACO to take action.
