The Town of Sharon, Massachusetts, is seeking proposals for a revaluation program of real and personal property. Proposals must be submitted by December 31, 2025, and include separate price and non-price components. The contractor must provide a letter of transmittal, audited financial statements, a list of completed revaluation programs, and written assurances of compliance with Department of Revenue certification requirements. The contractor will provide expert witnesses to represent the town at all appeals to any court, the appellate tax board or otherwise, of valuations andor classifications resulting from this project.

The proposals must be delivered to the Sharon Assessors Office no later than 4:00 p. m. , on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Payments shall be made to the contractor monthly, based on the portion of work completed and delivered to the town during the preceding month. The town will review each monthly invoice and, within twenty business days of its receipt, approve it for payment.

The criteria upon which proposals will be evaluated includes the following: directness of response to the specifications, project timetable, experience of the contractor with other similar revaluation projects, experience of the individuals who will be doing the revaluation, and cost of the project.

The contractor must have completed at least six revaluations of commercial income producing properties including one or more utilizing the vision appraisal technology system within the past three years.
