Proposals will be reviewed and scored based on cost proposal (45 points), overall experience of company and demonstrated results (20 points), and technical proposal (35 points). cost proposal provide a detailed breakdown of all services to be provided but not limited to: architectural, geotechnical, engineering, construction overall experience of company demonstrated results

Vendors must demonstrate competency by not having defaulted on contracts in the last 3 years, receiving favorable references, meeting specifications, being registered in Rhode Island, holding permits, having experience with press boxes, and having available licensed staff. vendor must not have defaulted on or failed to perform any contract within the last three 3 years

Proposals that are incomplete, not properly signed, or contrary to instructions may be rejected. Failure to perform the agreement to execute a contract or post a performance bond will result in the bid deposit becoming the property of the school department. any proposal which is not according to prescribed form, incomplete, not properly signed, or otherwise contrary to instructions, will be rejected by the school department.

Proposals must be received by August 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Scituate School Department Administration Office.

The contract will be awarded to the vendor who, in the sole opinion of the School Department, will best serve the needs of the School Department for specialized services for students, based on a qualification-based selection process.

Vendors must demonstrate competency by having no defaults on contracts in the last three years, receiving favorable ratings from references, meeting requested specifications, being registered in Rhode Island, holding applicable permits and licenses, having the ability and experience in providing special education student services, having available staff, and employing duly licensed and trained specialists.

Any proposal may be withdrawn by the vendor by written notice received by the School Department prior to the time scheduled for the opening of such proposals.

Proposals that are not according to the prescribed form, incomplete, not properly signed, or otherwise contrary to instructions will be rejected. Negligence in preparing the proposal confers no rights for withdrawal after opening.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid Rhode Island driver's license is mandatory, CDL preferred. One year of training and two years of experience are preferred.
