The period of performance is 85 calendar days, and work is to be scheduled outside the commercial rafting season (mid-October to mid-April). Contractors must comply with park regulations, including a no-smoking policy and specific requirements for equipment washing before entering the park to prevent the introduction of invasive plant species. A comprehensive Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Waste Management Plan, and Quality Control Plan are required. Safety requirements, including an Accident Prevention Plan and COVID-19 Safety Plan, must be adhered to. Submittals include product data, design mixtures for concrete, shop drawings for reinforcement, and a construction schedule. The project also emphasizes sustainable design, requiring the use of recycled and regional materials where possible. Specific sections detail requirements for concrete, aggregate base, asphalt paving, stormwater culverts, riprap, site clearing, trenching, fill, temporary facilities, product handling, closeout procedures, and sustainable design. Field verification of existing conditions is mandatory before providing pricing or ordering materials. The contracting officer's representative (COR) will coordinate site visits.

Payments will be made monthly, based on an agreed-upon schedule of values.
The contractor must designate a project superintendent and provide satisfactory evidence of liability insurance coverage and workmen's compensation for the contractor and all subcontractors.
