The Teton County is seeking a contractor to recycle scrap metal, TCBs, aluminum foil, and lead acid batteries. The scrap metal recycling will occur at the horsethief canyon trash transfer station, approximately six miles south of Jackson, Wyoming. The recycling of TCBs, aluminum foil, and lead acid batteries will occur at the recycling center at **** S. Adams Canyon Road, Jackson, WY. The proposed price shall include processing, hauling, and post-processing cleanup of the site with a magnet and be provided in net tons. The contract will involve two separate cleanups of approximately 300 to 400 net tons each, if such quantities accumulate within six months of the initial cleanup.

Proposals are due May 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM. All bids must be submitted on the provided form. Proposals must be physically delivered to the specified address. One original signed proposal and one electronic copy on a flash drive are required. Vendors are subject to disqualification for false or misleading information, efforts to dissuade other vendors, bid collusion, or failure to execute the bid document. Wake County Public School System reserves the right to award the contract to a single or multiple vendors. Award criteria include pricing, quality, conformity with specifications, and responsiveness. Vendors must meet all requirements. Additional information, including required certifications and descriptive literature, is detailed in the document. Taxes and shipping charges must be included in the bid. Insurance requirements are outlined in Exhibit B. Compliance with various state and federal laws and regulations is required, including criminal background checks, and compliance with the Lunsford Act. The successful bidder will be notified by the purchasing department.

This is a sources sought notice, not a request for proposal, to determine if qualified sources exist for reutilization and disposal services at multiple locations (China Lake, Point Mugu, San Nicolas Island). The government is seeking feedback on a draft statement of work (SOW) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and submit a written response, including a capability statement, by August 15, 2025. The response should reference solicitation number N6893625R0032. The solicitation or request for proposal (RFP) will be posted on SAM on or about August 2025.

The University of Hawaii is seeking bids for refuse and recycling collection services at Windward Community College. Bids must be submitted electronically through the state's electronic procurement system (HiEPRO) by 2:30 PM, May 8, 2025. Bidders must be registered on HiEPRO. Questions and requests for clarification must be submitted electronically through HiEPRO by April 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM HST. The contract will be for an initial period commencing on July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, and may be renewable for up to four additional years. Bidders must comply with Hawaii Revised Statutes, chapters 103 and 103d, and section ****, regarding wage rates and insurance. A mandatory site visit is required. The bidder must provide the names, addresses, and phone numbers of three agencies for which refuse and recycling collection service is currently provided. The university reserves the right to reject any potential bidder if, in its discretion, the university determines that the bidder does not have the requisite experience or expertise to provide the goods and/or services. The contractor shall be responsible for the disposition of all refuse at the disposal sites, including dump fee charges. The university reserves the right to add or delete new pickup areas and containers upon request. The contractor shall provide refuse containers at the specified locations, and maintain them in a clean and sanitary condition. The contractor shall be responsible for any overages in refuse volume. The contractor shall comply with all laws, ordinances, statutes, and regulations pertaining to the collection, transportation, and disposal of refuse and shall obtain such permits, licenses or other authorization as may be required. Insurance requirements are detailed in the special provisions. The contractor shall contact the technical representative to establish operational and administrative procedures, including coordination, scheduling contract personnel, and lead time for notification of nonscheduled pickups. The contractor shall not be permitted to interfere with university operations, and work schedules shall be coordinated with the technical representative prior to commencing work. The contractor shall be remunerated upon submission of a properly executed original invoice indicating the contract number, to windward community college, business office, **** keaahala road, kaneohe, hawaii ****, no later than thirty 30 calendar days following submission of invoice and acceptance of services.
