This is an invitation to bid for the purchase and installation of new tinted and thermal rated glass for the Cleveland County Election Board building. The project is ARPA funded and must follow ARPA guidelines. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on March 27, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. at the Cleveland County Election Board. Bids must be submitted by April 9, 2026, at 4:30 p. m. and will be opened on April 13, 2026, at 1:00 p. m. A detailed proposal of the job is required with the bid. The contract type is firm fixed price. Bidders must submit a notarized sworn statement of noncollusion. A bid bond of five percent of the bid amount is required. The awarded contractor must execute a contract within 15 days of the award and furnish permits, performance bond, labor and materials payment bond, and certifications of insurance. The bid notice states, For prompt payment of all invoices, please submit original invoice with reference to the Cleveland County Purchase Order number, to the ordering agency. Upon receipt of properly executed invoice and receiving report from the ordering agency, payment will be processed.
The bid requires a minimum 2-year warranty for labor and a minimum of 10-year warranty on glass and spandrels.
The county shall evaluate bids and award a contract based on lowest and best criteria in accordance with Oklahoma statutes.
Bidders must submit a notarized sworn statement of noncollusion and an executed business relationship affidavit. The awarded contractor shall furnish permits, performance bond, labor and materials payment bond, and certifications of insurance.
The bid notice mentions that ermination by the county for cause, default, or negligence on the part of the bidder shall be excluded from the foregoing provision termination costs, if any, shall not apply.
