The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) is soliciting competitive sealed bids for
walk-through multizone metal detectors. The inquiry period begins on 05/27/2025 and ends on 06/11/2025. The bid due date is 06/12/2025. Bids received after the due date and time will not be evaluated. The contract, if awarded, will be from the award date through June 30, 2025, with potential renewals up to a maximum of four years, contingent on annual appropriations. Background checks are required for all contractors and personnel entering correctional facilities. Detailed specifications, including a comprehensive cost analysis, are required in the bid response. The state will not be responsible for any costs not identified in the bid.
