The compensation for the Park Host Onsite Manager is 25% of eligible collected in-person park and campground fees, with the final structure subject to board approval. Additionally, one campsite with electrical, water, and dump services will be provided at no charge.

Proposals will be reviewed by the Parks Recreation Commission, and selected candidates may be invited for an interview. Final approval rests with the Tuscola County Board of Commissioners.

Applicants should demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills, basic financial recordkeeping ability, comfort using online reservation systems and digital tools, ability to work independently, and experience in campground operations, hospitality, facilities oversight, or related fields is preferred. An ability to lift 50 pounds and perform light physical tasks, and a willingness to pass a background screening if required, are also necessary.
