The contractor shall guarantee all materials, equipment and workmanship from defect of workmanship, and shall replace or repair without additional cost to the owner all defective material and workmanship, for a period of one 1 year after completion and acceptance.

The contractor shall visit the project site in order to become familiar with demolition job requirements.

Bids must be physically received by the designated office prior to the time and date specified in the notice to bidders. Bids received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered and will be returned to the bidder unopened. The bidder assumes all responsibility for timely delivery, regardless of the method of shipment chosen including courier services, usps, or handdelivery. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder matching the specifications for standard goods and public works, or via a best value evaluation framework if explicitly designated for professional services.

Bidders must be qualified contractors. The Statement of Bidders Qualifications and Vendor Responsibility Form Questionnaire must be completed to verify their status as a responsible vendor.

Any unauthorized communication violating the cone of silence will result in immediate disqualification of the bidder's proposal as nonresponsible and may lead to temporary or permanent debarment from future municipal bids.

A site walkthrough will be conducted on July 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Attendance is not mandatory but highly encouraged.

Failure to submit all required executed forms at the exact time of bid opening is a fatal defect and will result in disqualification. Violating the cone of silence will also lead to disqualification.

Electronic PDF bids must be received no later than 2:00 p. m. local Dayton OH time on July 23, 2026.

In case of default by the vendor, the city of dayton may procure the items from other sources, and the vendor shall be responsible for any excess costs occasioned thereby.

If you are notified by the city of dayton that your company does not have a current aaa approval, you will have five 5 working days to obtain the approval. Failure to obtain this approval within five 5 working days may be cause for rejection of your bids.

USACE is gauging industry interest, operational understanding, proven historical experience, and execution capabilities regarding innovative strategies and alternative project delivery methods.
