Bids are due August 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM for Nepperhan Avenue Pedestrian Bridge Repairs. A mandatory pre-bid site inspection is scheduled for August 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the NYS DOL. OSHA 10 compliance is required for contracts $250,000 or more. Plumbing and electrical contractors must be licensed by Westchester County. All bid documents and addenda are available online. Failure to submit required documents may result in disqualification.

To receive payments, the contractor shall submit monthly, itemized invoices. Payments will be made within 30 to 90 days of receipt, subject to compliance. Invoices received more than 30 calendar days after the termination of the agreement will not be considered for payment, except for warranty retention.
The warranty period for retention is one year after the end of the contract.
The award of the contract shall be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Bidders are obligated to submit a complete and accurate vendor background questionnaire. The city will conduct investigations to determine bidder responsibility and ability to perform the work.
Liquidated damages are $300 for each consecutive calendar day over the completion time.

Failure to submit the certificate of registration with the bid may result in disqualification. Noncompliance with bid submission requirements may also lead to disqualification.
