This is a sources sought notice for the design, purchase, and installation of new office
furniture to replace existing
furniture in three rooms at the US Naval Base Kitsap. The project involves approximately 6,327 square feet of office space, requiring the reconfiguration of existing spaces to accommodate approximately 65 employees. The project includes the design and installation of 65 workstations (45 L-shaped, 20 general, and 2 executive), two executive offices, and a coffee break area. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision. The government will not provide any service or materials. The contractor must provide an itemized bill of materials (BOM) and cutsheets/datasheets for each item prior to delivery. Partial delivery is not acceptable. The contractor must also provide temporary trash containers and remove all debris and packing materials at the end of each workday. The contractor must comply with all current rules and regulations applicable to the premises, including valid identification for base access, smoking restrictions, and safety procedures. The contractor must also coordinate delivery of shipping containers with a designated government surveillance officer. The notice includes detailed specifications for the
furniture, including adjustable height desks, file cabinets with locks, and sound reduction materials. The notice also outlines the requirements for electrical, data, and communication lines, and building utilities. The notice also includes requirements for pre-installation conferences, installation personnel information, and installation tasks. The notice also specifies the need for the contractor to provide two copies of planned installation drawings, installation instructions, and a material list for the final installed systems with part numbers. The notice also specifies the need for the contractor to provide at least one week prior to beginning of delivery and installation, the contractors representative, supervisor, and representatives of the installation crew must provide the following information to FLCPS POC: company name, address, telephone numbers, supervisors name, name of each individual installer, listings of vehicle requests for base access and vehicle registrations and comprehensive car insurances, professional US drivers license. The contractor will be responsible for confining the crew and work to the designated project areas. The contractor will also be responsible for ensuring that the installation personnel are identifiable and provide continuous onsite management supervision any time
furniture is being installed and delivered. The notice also specifies the need for the contractor to provide at least thirty 30 days prior to beginning of delivery and installation, the contractors representative, supervisor, and representatives of the installation crew must provide the following information to government surveillance representative company name, address, telephone number, supervisors name and social security number, name and social security number of each individual installer, provide the number of project managers and installers, copy of contract award and its duration, listings of vehicle requests for base access and vehicle registrations and comprehensive car insurances, professional US drivers license.
