Henry County Water Authority is soliciting bids for furnishing and applying **** bales of long needle or slash pine straw at the admin campus. Contractors must be licensed landscape contractors with 3 years of similar experience. Bids are due by 2:00 pm on September 24, 2026, via BidNet Direct. Award is based on the lowest responsive, responsible bid. Insurance requirements are detailed in Appendix 5.
Bids are to be submitted electronically via bidnet direct ga purchasing group no later than by 2: 00pm **** or prior to the date and time indicated on the cover sheet.
HCWA shall make partial payments to the contractor within thirty 30 days following receipt of each invoice.
The vendor warrants to hcwa that all pine straw furnished under this bid provided shall be good quality pine straw bales, without any sticks, pine cones, or other foreign debris.
Contract award is based on the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting all specifications.
Any contractor wishing to submit a proposal and be considered for this solicitation shall be a licensed landscape contractor with a minimum of three 3 years of successful experience in a similar scope and service of work.
If the contractor fails to achieve final completion within the time fixed therefor by hcwa, the contractor shall pay hcwa the sum of 1, **** per day for each and every calendar day of unexcused delay in achieving final completion beyond the date set forth herein for final completion of the work.
Prebid site visit is scheduled for **** @10:00am, but it is not required before submitting a bid.
Should a bidder find discrepancies in the plans andor specifications or be in doubt as to the meaning or intent of any part thereof, the bidder shall request clarification from hcwa bidnet direct ga purchasing group, not later than ten 10 working days prior to the bid opening.
No response shall be accepted from, and no contract will be awarded to, any person, firm, or corporation that i is in arrears to hcwa with respect to any debt, ii is in default with respect to any obligation to hcwa, or iii is deemed irresponsible or unreliable by hcwa.
