The Woonsocket Housing Authority invites sealed bids for lead hazard reduction at Veterans Memorial, RI 32. Bids are due by 9:00 a. m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Bids will be received until 9:00 a. m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Woonsocket Housing Authority.
The Woonsocket Housing Authority will evaluate bids in response to this solicitation without discussions and will award a contract to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Woonsocket Housing Authority considering only price and any price-related factors specified in the solicitation.
The PHA will award contracts only to responsible prospective contractors who have the ability to perform successfully under the terms and conditions of the proposed contract.
A nonmandatory prebid conference is scheduled for 11:00 a. m. , Tuesday, August 18, 2026, starting at Veterans Memorial, 2 Bourdon Boulevard, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, ****, the project site will be available for a prebid walkthrough.
Requests for explanations or interpretations must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening.
Failure to do so will at the bidders risk. Bidders must submit as part of their bid a completed form hud5369a, representations, certifications, and other statements of bidders.
The PHA requires a minimum acceptance period of 31 calendar days.
