Failure to comply with facility requirements may be considered a material breach of contract. The contractor shall be responsible for finding an equally qualified individual if their employee does not appear for a hearing. Liquidated damages may apply for data breaches.
Violations of VA regulations, including drug possession, weapon possession, and unauthorized use of electronic devices, may result in citation or federal prosecution. Failure to comply with security and privacy requirements can lead to contract termination.
