Proposals received after the submission deadline shall be returned unopened and will not be considered. The work must be completed within 180 working days from the notice to proceed. As stated: the work shall be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with the general conditions within 180 working days from the date indicated in the notice to proceed.

Progress payments are made monthly, with 5% retainage held until final payment. The document states: all progress payments will be on the basis of unit prices stated in the proposal and the completed units of work as determined by owner minus five percent 5 retainage.

The contractor must maintain the work for two years after final acceptance. As stated: contractor binds itself to use such materials and to so construct the work that it will remain in good repair and conditions for and during the period of two 2 years after the date of final acceptance.

Contractor must not be listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of designated foreign terrorist organizations and must verify compliance with state laws regarding boycotts. As stated: contractor is not listed on, nor does not do business with, companies that are on the texas comptroller of public accounts list of designated foreign terrorist organizations.

Liquidated damages of $1,000 per working day for delay. As stated: as liquidated damages for delay but not as a penalty contractor shall pay owner one thousand dollars 1, **** for each working day that expires after the time specified.

Failure to comply with the SWPPP and TPDEs permit requirements could lead to issues. The contractor must submit a completed notice of intent to the state at least 48 hours prior to construction. The award will be based on the lowest, responsive, and responsible bid, which offers the best value.

Bidders must complete the Bidder Determination of Responsibility questionnaire and provide a sworn statement regarding campaign laws compliance.

Bids may be rejected for failure of a bid to conform to the essential requirements or failure to furnish a bid security.

The contractor will provide a two 2 year written warranty covering workmanship and materials in compliance with twin rivers unified school district specifications. All repairs shall be made at no cost to twin rivers unified school district during the warranty period.

The contractor shall hold a valid state of california c7 or c10 contractors license, shall have completed at least ten 10 projects of equal scope, shall have been in business of furnishing and installing systems of this scope and magnitude for at least three 3 years.

Requests for substitutions must clearly state what is offered and be complete with full data, including illustrations, specifications, capacities, operational data and samples. Requests in writing shall be received by the owner at least seven 7 working days prior to the bid opening.

Requests for approval of substitute items shall be categorically rejected if received after specified deadlines or if noncompliant with any conditions of this section or specification section of the product for which substitution approval is being requested.
