Failure to comply with the limitations on subcontracting or providing false certifications may result in penalties, including prosecution for violating 18 ****.

Equipment shall be delivered within 30 days of contract award. The anticipated period of performance is September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027.

Payment requests must be submitted electronically through the U. S. Department of the Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform (IPP). Specific invoice requirements are detailed in the contract payment clause.

A 1-year warranty is required upon delivery of the equipment.

The government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.

Offerors must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the effort required and capability to meet all requirements. Past performance is a significant evaluation factor.

Failure to comply with contract terms, including those related to sexual assault and harassment prevention, may result in contract termination, suspension of payments, or debarment.

Protests must be served on the contracting officer by obtaining written and dated acknowledgment of receipt within one day of filing with the GAO.

Payments on the awarded bids will be made upon delivery of equipment, vehicle, material, or supplies in accordance with established payment procedures of the division of finance of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriffs Office.

The manufacturers standard warranty will apply unless otherwise specified. All warranty work to be done within the boundary of Calcasieu Parish. Costs for warranty work performed beyond the boundary will be borne by the successful bidder.

Each and every bid will be evaluated based upon the proposed product price, specification, product support, performance characteristics, and suitability, in the opinion of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriffs Office to properly perform the tasks required.

Bids will be accepted only from established manufacturers or their authorized dealers. Bidders must have an operational factory adequate for and devoted to the manufacturer of the equipment, vehicle, material, or supplies they propose to supply.

Failure to deliver within the time specified in the bid will constitute a default and may cause cancellation of the contract and/or the bid guaranty accompanying the bid shall be forfeited by the bidder.

Bids may be rejected if they show additions not called for, conditional or alternate bids not called for, or for incomplete bids. Failure to submit descriptive information may cause bid to be rejected.
