Mississippi State University is seeking to purchase specific equipment and software for its neuromechanics laboratory. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for mechanical construction services. The contract will have a total aggregate value up to $8,000,000 over a three-year ordering period. Task orders will range in value from $2,500 to $2,000,000. A pre-proposal site visit will be required. The contractor must comply with Homeland Security Presidential Directive HSPD-12 and submit a roster of staff working on government information systems. Background investigations are required for all contractor personnel. NIST will furnish hazardous material information. Work will be performed in occupied areas and may involve phasing to maintain ongoing operations. A job-specific safety plan with activity hazard analysis (AHA) is required for each task order. The solicitation is a small business set-aside. The contract is for mechanical construction services, including but not limited to demolition, repair, replacement, modification, or addition to hydronic, plumbing, refrigeration, and steam condensate piping systems, air conditioning distribution and exhaust air systems, air conditioning distribution control systems, utility metering and/or monitoring systems, fire sprinkler systems, and laboratory safety equipment.
