The Office of State Procurement is seeking bids for fabric materials for the Louisiana Department of Corrections. Discounts for payment made within 30 days will be accepted but will not be an award consideration.

The contract is a blanket order contract for an initial period beginning with the date of award and ending December 31, 2025, with the possibility of renewal for two additional 12-month periods. The total contract time will not exceed 36 months. Minimum orders may be one unit, unless otherwise stated. Unit price should be inclusive of any freight charges. The state reserves the right to reject any and all vendors who cannot make delivery within the stated timeframe. The state further reserves the right to reject individual line items from the award. Delivery timeframe is 90 days after receipt of order. Deliveries are accepted from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. No deliveries are accepted after 2:00 PM.

No exceptions 65% polyester/35% cotton Approximate finished goods thread count 88 x 41 Finished weight required - 7. 5 oz. /square yard or better Minimum finished weight accepted - 7. 2 oz. /square yard Pre- cured, preshrunk, colorfast, hand finish firm Rolls shall be wrapped and marked with exact yardage and weight. Rolls of less than one hundred ( 100) yards or more than two hundred ( 200) yards will not be accepted. Rolls can be shipped loose or on pallets. Each roll must be marked with the lot number and shade group number for dyed materials. Rolls must be wrapped in protective plastic. No boxes. First quality only, no seconds. Cost is to be inclusive of all shipping and handling charges. Estimated annual purchase is 100, 000 yards. The initial order will require delivery no later than 90 days after receipt of order. For all subsequent orders, deliveries will be required within 21 days after receipt of delivery order. Ordering increments are normally 20, 000 yard increments. The minimum order will be 10, 000 yards. Shipments shall not contain small lots. Unit price bid includes all associated costs, to include handling, packaging, and shipping/freight costs.
