Christmas Lights on Front Street Request for Bid The City of Georgetown, South Carolina, is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the installation, maintenance, removal and storage of commercial- grade mini Christmas light strands throughout designated areas of the downtown district.
Christmas light installation, maintenance, removal, and storage Installation of commercial- grade mini Christmas light strands on 94 oak trees, 4 cypress trees, 5 trees in Rainey Park, 6 crepe myrtle trees, 11 trees in Constitution and Palmetto Park, and installation of a garland with large red bows on the Harbor Walk sign. Maintenance includes regular inspections, repair, and replacement of defective bulbs. Removal must occur after January 30, 2027, and before February 05, 2027. Light pole lights must be removed between January 4, 2027 and January 08, 2027. The winning bidder is responsible for storing the lights and related equipment securely.
