The Peoria Park District is seeking bids for the purchase of eighty (80) new electric golf carts and the trade-in of sixty-seven (67) used golf carts. Bids are due by Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM local prevailing Peoria time. The bids received will be opened at the office of the Secretary of the Board, Peoria Park District, **** W. Lake Ave. , Peoria, IL 61614. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and negotiate contract terms. Bidders must submit specification sheets for all equipment bid. Onsite training on the proper use, care, and maintenance of the units, chargers, and accessories will be required. Delivery must be completed no later than forty-five (45) days from purchase order issuance. Payment terms are net 60. Delivery to the park shall be completed no later than forty-five (45) days from purchase order issuance.
Payment terms are net 60 per the Illinois Prompt Payment Act.
Warranty details include lifetime for the frame, 8 years for the lithium battery system and battery pack, 4 years for powertrain, electric motor, solid state speed controller, motor brake, battery management system and charger, and suspension/steering, 4 years for sun top/canopy, 3 years for seats, bumpers and body group, and 2 years for all options and accessories.
The lowest overall price, taking into consideration the trade-ins of the used golf carts, shall constitute the low bid.
The park district may make investigations as it deems necessary to assist in the evaluation of any bid and to establish the responsibility, qualifications, and financial ability of bidders to perform and furnish the materials and/or services in accordance with the contract to the park district's satisfaction within the prescribed time.
In case of default by vendor, the Peoria Park District will procure the products or services from other sources and shall hold the vendor responsible for any excess cost incurred.
Any vendor who desires a site visit for the purpose of inspecting buildings and/or equipment must schedule such visit with the purchasing supervisor.
Failure to complete and submit required forms, including the certification of compliance, company ownership certification, certificate of equal employment opportunity compliance, W9, and certificate of insurance, may result in the disqualification of the submitted bid or proposal.
