The Office of State Procurement has suspended in-person vendor attendance at public bid openings. Bidders must be registered in the LAgov vendor system. A W9 is required for newly registered vendors. Bidders must be licensed by the Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission and include a copy of a valid dealer's license. Failure to do so will result in bid rejection. Delivery will be made within a specified number of days after receipt of order. Bidders must submit completed attachments A and B with their bid response, including descriptive literature. Bid prices must be typed, written in ink, or submitted online. Bids must be returned in an envelope or package clearly marked with the bid opening date and number, or submitted online. All bids are subject to Louisiana laws and regulations. Vendors are encouraged to participate in electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments. Additional information on EFT enrollment is available. Bidders may attend the bid opening, but no information on contract award will be given. All bid amounts must be submitted in US dollars. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. The state reserves the right to terminate the contract for various reasons, including misrepresentation, fraud, or breach of contract. Failure to deliver within the specified time will constitute a default. The state may purchase the products or services on the open market in case of default.

This is a sources sought announcement, not a request for proposal or quotation, to identify potential sources for chemical biological protective ensembles. Interested parties must submit a response electronically by May 26, 2025, 5:00 PM EST, to the specified email addresses. Physical samples may be sent to a specific address. The response must include detailed information about the respondent and their proposed technology, including estimated production time, cost per suit, sizes, materials, availability, suit design, and interoperability with existing CBRN equipment.
