The bid notice states bids are due february 20, 2026 by 5: 00 p. m.

The contractor shall unconditionally guarantee materials and workmanship against patent defects arising from faulty materials, faulty workmanship or negligence for a period of twelve 12 months following the final acceptance of the work, according to the bid notice.

Carteret County Government reserves the right to award to multiple contractors deemed to be fully qualified and best suited among others submitting proposals on the basis of the evaluation factors included within this rfp, according to the bid notice.

Each contractor shall fill out the required information within this rfp, submit certificate of insurance for liability and workers compensation in order for the proposal to be qualified, according to the bid notice.

The period of performance will be from date of award for a base of 12 months with four 12-month option periods.

All items must be covered by the manufacturers warranty.

A single award requirements contract will be awarded iaw all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedule of this solicitation herein.

All interested offerors must be registered in the system for award management sam prior to submitting a quote.

Questions regarding this combined synopsissolicitation are due via email by 16:30 pm cst on february 6, 2026, to contracting officer, courtney chattman at courtney. chattman@va. gov.

The performance period for maintenance renewals, software licenses, services, etc. , must begin on or after the date of contract award. The performance period cannot be back dated.

All equipment must be covered by the manufacturers warranty.

The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.

Offerors are required to submit documentation from the manufacturer stating that they are an authorized distributor for the specific items being procured.
