The contractor agrees to indemnify the county from any claims, actions, losses, damages, and liability arising out of this contract. The contractor agrees to inform the county of all interests that are or which the contractor believes to be incompatible with any interests of the county. The county shall have the audit and inspection rights described in this section. If the contractor submitted cost or pricing data, the director of purchasing or his/her representatives shall have the right to examine all books, records, documents, and other data related to the negotiation, pricing, or performance of such contract. The county shall have a royalty-free, nonexclusive, and irrevocable license to publish, disclose, copy, translate, and otherwise use, copyright or patent, now and hereafter, all reports, studies, information, data, statistics, forms, designs, plans, procedures, systems, and any other materials or properties developed under this contract. The contractor shall comply with all air pollution control, water pollution, safety, and health ordinances and statutes. The contractor agrees that the equipment or supplies to be furnished shall be covered by the most favorable commercial warranties the contractor gives to any customer for the same or substantially similar equipment or supplies. The contractor shall, at contractor's expense, obtain all necessary permits and licenses, give all necessary notices, pay all fees required by law, and comply with all laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations relating to work and to the preservation of the public health and safety.
