Sealed bids for road paving in place related services are due on September 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking proposals for recycling services at the Defense Supply Center, Richmond, Virginia. The contract is a long-term concession with a base year and four one-year options. Offerors will be evaluated on the total of the percentages offered for each recyclable material category. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM EST on September 25, 2025. Sealed bids for the construction of Ofallon Family Sports Park North Parking and Lighting are due September 3, 2025, at 8:30 AM at the Ofallon City Hall Clerk's Office. Bidders must be prequalified with the Illinois Department of Transportation. A 5% bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check is required. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond. No bid withdrawals are allowed for 30 days after the opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidders may obtain bidding documents from the city of ofallon website. Questions about the project may be directed to city parks and recreation. The contractor agrees to commence work within 15 days after execution of the contract, and shall substantially complete the project by November 22, 2024. A mandatory preconstruction meeting will be scheduled within one week of contract ratification. Weekly progress meetings will be held. All invoice submitted for payment shall be paid net **** of the payment due to the contractor shall be retained until the project is successfully completed and all punch list items are adequately addressed. The contractor shall submit payrolls electronically through the certified transcript of payroll portal. The contractor shall maintain and protect all existing facilities, both onsite and offsite. All materials for disposal shall be removed from the site and properly disposed of at locations provided by the contractor. The contractor shall obtain a hydrant meter from the city engineering office should the contractor intend on using water from a fire hydrant within the city of ofallon water system. Failure to comply with any provisions of this storm water pollution prevention plan will result in the implementation of a national pollutant discharge elimination system erosion and sediment control deficiency deduction against the contractor and/or penalties under the permit ilr10.
