Proposals may be rejected for major deficiencies. Failure to follow the indicated proposal format or give proper references can lead to misinterpretations.

Selection will be based on factors including experience, neutrality, productivity focus, adeptness at facilitating sensitive discussions, proposal content and presentation, cost, availability, public sector experience, business history, references, and qualifications. selection of the facilitator will be based upon several factors, including but not limited to: the priority characteristics identified by the advisory committee: o level of experience o neutrality o productivity focus and o adept and practiced at facilitating discussions on sensitive topics with a high level of public interest.

The contract will be awarded based on overall value, determined by feature criteria (60%), cost (30%), vendor financial stability and long-term viability (5%), and references checks (5%).

Vendors must be qualified and provide a company overview, product roadmap, and detailed responses to specific questions regarding their company and solution. If awarded, the company must be registered with the University of Mississippi.

If an onsite visit is necessary, all onsite visit demonstration costs are to be absorbed by the vendor.

Each bidder shall be prepared, if so requested by the owner, to present evidence of his experience, qualifications, and financial ability to carry out the terms of the contract. After the bids are opened, all bidders, if requested, may be required to furnish complete samples of any or all items listed before an award is made.

Unauthorized contact regarding the RFP may result in disqualification. Violation of the provision regarding communication with university staff may also lead to disqualification.
