The Greater Rockford Airport Authority (GRAA) is seeking bids for a bulk supply of liquid de-icing compound, specifically potassium acetate based fluid, conforming to FAA approved specification SAE AMS **** are due by August 11, 2026, 10:30 AM CDT. Deliveries are required in bulk shipments of 4,400 gallons within 8 hours of order placement to the facility at **** Falcon Road, Rockford, IL 61109. The contract term is anticipated to be one year from award. Vendors must provide technical information, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and theoretical total oxygen demand (TOD) reports, fluid production site details, and acute aquatic toxicity test reports. The goal of the authority is to pay properly submitted contractor invoices within thirty 30 days of receipt, providing goods have been delivered andor services have been performed, approved and accepted by the greater rockford airport authority.
Contractor warrants that all goods and services furnished hereunder will conform in all respects to the terms of this solicitation, including any drawings, specifications or standards incorporated herein, and that they will be free from latent and patent defects in materials, workmanship and title, and will be free from such defects in design. The contractor further agrees, upon written notice from the authority, to promptly and without charge, make changes, corrections andor replacement, to the satisfaction of the authority, which may be required to make good all defects in design and material under its intended use, for a period of three 3 years, with the three 3 year period commencing on the date of acceptance by the authority.
The contractor must submit a minimum of three 3 references of organizations that have purchased similar services. Failure to include references may result in bid disqualification.
If delivery of acceptable items or rendering of services is not completed by the time promised, the authority reserves the right, without liability, in addition to its other rights and remedies, to terminate the contract by notice effective when received by contractor, as to stated items not yet shipped or services not yet rendered and to purchase substitute items or services elsewhere and charge the contractor with any or all losses incurred.
Failure to include references may result in bid disqualification. In the event of the contractors or a subcontractors noncompliance with the executive order clause, this contract may be canceled, terminated, or suspended in whole or in part, and the contractor or subcontractor may be declared ineligible for further government contracts.
