The period of performance is one base year of 12 months and four 12-month option years. The first service visit will be on or around **** and will consist of all six month and twelve month services.

The government will award a firm fixed priced contract with a cost reimbursable CLIN for unscheduled repairs/emergency work. Any repair/emergency work will be separately negotiated and approved in writing by the contracting officer prior to execution.

The contractor is responsible for ensuring all employees have the proper licenses and certifications for the state of Florida to properly operate and maintain equipment. The contractor shall provide written certification that it is an authorized and active Bauer service provider and distributor, and is NAVSEA certified. Contractor shall show proof of historical work provided on electric and diesel Bauer systems and Seccant systems within the last two years.

The government has the right to restrict the performance, under this contract, of any contract employee or prospective contractor employee, who is identified as a potential threat to the health, safety, security and/or the general wellbeing or operational mission of the installation and its population.
