Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC (CNS) is seeking interested parties to contract for the deactivation and stabilization of approximately 200 55-gallon drums of mixed materials (lithium, beryllium, contaminated, painted stainless, and depleted uranium chips and turnings). The successful bidder will be responsible for the deactivation and stabilization of the chips for disposal, either at the vendor facility or at the Y-12 site. CNS will supply a suitable location and the necessary security planning and documentation for on-site processing. The vendor site must be capable of storing and processing classified matter. Interested parties should reply to the expression of interest by July 18, 2025. The project will be executed using a fixed-price subcontract, and the scope of work will be performed by the bidder that is technically acceptable and then the lowest price evaluation. Interested parties are sought for the installation of underground utilities at the Lithium Processing Facility (LPF) at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The deadline for submitting general qualifications, related experience, and envisioned role is May 29, 2025. The project will be awarded using the tradeoff approach. The scope includes various utility installations, excavation, and concrete work. The subcontract will be a fixed price subcontract with lump sum and fixed unit rate pay items with multiple schedule milestone incentives.
