Lot 1: Supply and install Omni concrete grade crossing surface ( or equal), including removal of existing rail to road transition sections

Lot 2: Remove and Replace with 115RE Rail on an as needed basis; complete in place, as required by first class construction practice for work of this type; conformance to all applicable codes and specifications [ AREA, OSHA, etc. ]; and/or as ordered by the City; including mobilization and demobilization, rail removal, cutting, splicing, welding, fabrication, installation, labor, equipment, materials, tools, etc. , and incidentals thereto; at a unit price per lineal foot of rail removed and replaced, and subsequently accepted by the City.

Lot 3: Rail Spike Replacement ( 5/8 x 6 ) on an as needed basis; complete in place, as required by first class construction practice for work of this type; conformance to all applicable codes and specifications [ AREA, OSHA, etc. ]; and/or as ordered by the City; including mobilization and demobilization, spike removal, new replacement spike, installation, labor, equipment, materials, tools, etc. and incidentals thereto; at a unit per rail spike removed and replaced, and subsequently accepted by the City.

Lot 4: Grade 5 Rail Tie Replacement 7 x 9 x 6. 5 on an as needed basis; complete in place, as required by first class construction practice for work of this type; conformance to all applicable codes and specifications [ AREA, OSHA, etc. ]; and/or as ordered by the City; including mobilization and demobilization, rail to removal, new replacement oak tie, installation, labor, equipment, materials, tools, etc. , and incidentals thereto; at a unit price per rail tie removed and replaced, and subsequently accepted by the City.

Lot 5: Rail Tie Plate Replacement on an as needed basis; complete in place, as required by first class construction practice for work of this type; conformance to all applicable codes and specifications [ AREA, OSHA, etc. ]; and/or as ordered by the City; including mobilization and demobilization, tie plate removal, new replacement tail tie plate, installation, labor, equipment, materials, tools, etc. , and incidentals thereto; at a unit price per rail tie plate removed and replaced, and subsequently accepted by the City.

Lot 6: Grade 5 Rail Tie Crossing Timbers Replacement 7 x 9 x 10 on an as needed basis; complete in place, as required by first class construction practice for work of this type; conformance to all applicable codes and specifications [ AREA, OSHA, etc. ]; and/or as ordered by the City; including mobilization and demobilization, rail tie removal, new replacement oak tie, installation, labor, equipment, materials, tools, etc. , and incidentals thereto; at a unit price per rail tie removed and replaced, and subsequently accepted by the City.

Lot 7: Flagging ( Rail & Roadway) as required

Lot 8: Installation of new replacement joint bars, including all bolts, hardware, labor, equipment, and incidental materials necessary to restore the rail joint to safe operating condition.

Lot 9: Rail Ballast on an as needed basis; complete in place, in accordance with these Specifications; as required by first class construction practice for work of this type; conformance to all applicable codes and specifications [ AREA, OSHA, etc. ]; and/or as ordered by the City; including mobilization and demobilization, excavation, placement, installation, labor, equipment, materials, tools, disposal, etc. , and incidentals thereto; at a unit price per cubic yard of rail ballast installed, and subsequently accepted by the City.

Lot 10: Installation of new insulated joint bars, insulating end posts, insulating bushings, and coated or insulated hardware that prevent electrical current from passing across the rail joint.
