This is an invitation for bid for professional janitorial services for the North Little Rock Justice Center. Bids are due by May 14, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. CT. Mandatory site visits are scheduled for April 30, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. and May 5, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. Vendors must attend one of these visits to be eligible to bid. The contract will be for two years with three annual renewal options. Vendors must provide proof of workers' compensation and general liability insurance, be bonded, and hold a current business privilege license. A W9 form is also required. The bid documents must be submitted on or before the bid opening date and time, which is Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. CT.
The vendor will submit an invoice to the city at the beginning of each month for the previous month's services, and the city will pay the contractor within twenty (20) days.
The bid notice states that when submitting an invitation to bid, the bidder warrants that the commodities covered by the bid shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.
The award will be made to the lowest responsive, qualified, and responsible bidder based upon the price and meeting the requirements in this IFB.
Bids may be rejected if they are made by a bidder that is deemed irresponsible due to a lack of qualifications, capacity, skill, character, experience, reliability, financial stability, or quality of services, supplies, materials, equipment, or labor.
Liquidated damages shall be determined at the time of contract negotiations, based upon the construction contract price and stated time period set for completion of the project.
All bidders must attend one of two mandatory onsite visits at the Justice Center. The mandatory onsite visit dates and times are: Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. and Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 10:00 a. m.
Samples of items when required, must be furnished free, and, if not called for within 30 days from date of bid opening, will become property of the city.
No questions will be taken after 4:00 p. m. on Monday, May 11, 2026.
