The contractor shall provide and maintain a quality management system acceptable to the government. The contractor shall comply with 29 code of federal regulations part ****, occupational and health standards for shipyard employment. The contractor shall extend to the government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty. The contractor shall not provide controlled unclassified information cui. The contractor may request the lay down space adjacent to the ship yard. The contractor shall avoid changing the original materials and finishes used in the properties. The contractor shall submit design drawings, floor plans, and other relevant operational details to the cfay cultural resource manager through the contracting officer for review and approval prior to the commencement of work. The contractor shall contact the cfay cultural resources manager through the contracting officer to determine if the work involves any archaeological, historical or cultural assets. The contractor must conduct an archaeological monitoring by a qualified archaeologist for the planned excavations. The contractor shall, notwithstanding any other clause in this contract to the contrary, be required to submit a request in writing to the contracting officer for issuance of a tax exemption certificate for any import duties and all taxes paid or to be paid from which the u. s. government is entitled to an exemption. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer confirming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price andor other factors considered. The government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement.
