Sealed bids will be received at the Environmental Protection Division on May 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM prevailing time, to supply
sodium hypochlorite to the city's wastewater treatment facility. Bid invitations and specifications are available online and at the division. Questions should be directed to Tim Quinn. The city reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, and accept the bid in the best interest of the city. Failure to submit all required information may result in disqualification. Bids must be sealed, addressed, and marked properly. Oral interpretations will not be made; written requests for interpretations must be submitted five or more working days before the bid opening date. Incomplete, improperly endorsed, or signed bids may be rejected. Conditional and alternative bids will not be accepted. Prices quoted must be firm, FOB destination, City of Manchester, New Hampshire, and include all delivery charges. Proposals must be submitted on the bid schedule. The contract period is from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, with a possible four one-year renewals. The estimated quantity is 26,****,000 gallons per month of 15% available chlorine
sodium hypochlorite solution. The city reserves the right to sample the solution. The city reserves the right to cancel any unfilled portion of the contract if the services or material are unsatisfactory. The contractor will protect the city against any increase in the price of
sodium hypochlorite. The city reserves the right to order
sodium hypochlorite from another vendor if the contractor is unable to ship within 48 hours. Payment will be made within **** days of delivery and acceptance. The city reserves the right to divert delivery from one location to another. The bidder must provide proof of federal identification number. The bidder agrees to provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for each toxic or hazardous substance. The contract agreement will incorporate the invitation to bid and terms and conditions.
