Macomb Township is seeking proposals for the replacement of Senior Center HVAC Rooftop Unit #1. The project includes removal, installation, and all associated services. The award will be based on best value, considering qualifications, work plan, and cost. Proposers must have at least five years of experience in similar work. Payment will be made within thirty 30 days of receiving an undisputed invoice. The township shall retain 10% of the payment for completed work until all work is accepted.
All parts and labor shall have a warranty for 2 years from the project completion date.
Selection of the successful proposer will be based on qualifications, experience, references (30%), work plan methodology (30%), and cost proposal (40%).
Proposers must be skilled and regularly engaged in the specified work for a minimum of five 5 years on projects of similar size and complexity.
The township reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately in the event the proposer fails to fulfill the terms of specifications or fails to comply with the terms of this contract. Breach of contract or default authorizes the township to award to another vendor, purchase elsewhere and charge the full increase in cost and handling to the defaulting party.
A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held onsite at the Senior Center, **** Alma, Macomb Township, MI **** at 10:00 AM on Tuesday July 14, 2026. his is a rooftop unit and climbing a ladder is the only access to the roof.
Questions concerning this solicitation shall be made in writing and submitted online through MITN BidNet or via email by July 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time.
Proposals received after the submission deadline will be rejected as nonresponsive. Proposals that fail to conform to required delivery schedules, have unqualified prices, or are contingent upon other proposals may be deemed nonresponsive.
