Proposals are due by 12:00 PM Eastern Time on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Bid pricing must reflect net 30 payment terms.

Parts will be warranted per the manufacturers warranty period. Labor will be warranted for a minimum of thirty 30 days.

Awards shall be made to the most responsible vendors whose proposal is determined to be best value to Huron Valley Schools, considering experience, qualifications, references, and attention to requirements.

Proposers must demonstrate experience in providing fire safety inspection, testing, maintenance and repair services by providing a minimum of three 3 distinct client references for services equivalent in scope and complexity, performed for a minimum duration of three 3 years within the past five 5 years.

Huron Valley Schools reserves the right to withhold any or all payments until defects in performance have been satisfactorily corrected.

Responses received later than the specified deadline will be disqualified. Failure to comply with minimum mandatory requirements may eliminate a proposal from further consideration. Contacting Huron Valley Schools personnel other than the designated contact may result in disqualification.

Bid pricing must reflect net 30 payment terms. Invoices for services delivered shall be sent by U. S. mail and must be received by the third day of the month for timely processing. Invoicing may be done on a monthly, quarterly, or twice annual basis.

Awards shall be made to the most responsible vendors whose proposal is determined to be best value to Huron Valley Schools, taking into consideration the terms and conditions set forth in this RFQU. Evaluation criteria include experience and qualifications (35 points), strength of team servicing the account (25 points), cost (20 points), and references (20 points).

Respondents must demonstrate experience providing a comprehensive integrated pest management program compliant with public act 451, part 83, and regulation 637 by submitting a minimum of three distinct client references for services similar in scope and complexity performed for a minimum duration of three years within the past five years. Respondent must have current licenses in the state of Michigan and state-certified technicians assigned to the contract.

Responses received later than the specified deadline will be disqualified. Failure of the proposer to comply with the minimum mandatory requirements may eliminate its proposal from any further consideration. If a proposer contacted and received information regarding this solicitation from any Huron Valley Schools personnel other than the procurement contact, Huron Valley Schools, in its sole discretion, may disqualify its proposal.

Evaluation factors include statement of work (25 points), company profile (15 points), references (20 points), and pricing (40 points). Proposals receiving 80 or more evaluation criteria points will be considered for award.

Proposers must demonstrate experience in providing ice melt by submitting a minimum of three distinct client references for services equivalent to or similar in size, scope, and complexity within the past five years. They must also provide pricing and a detailed description of their organizational ordering and delivery processes, and demonstrate sufficient inventory and distribution capability.

Responses received later than the specified deadline will be disqualified. Failure to comply with minimum mandatory requirements may eliminate a proposal from further consideration. Contacting Huron Valley Schools personnel other than the designated procurement contact may result in disqualification.

The bid submission deadline is Monday, June 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time.

Proposer must have three years of experience, within the last five years, providing construction and building materials testing services equivalent or similar to that being requested by Huron Valley Schools.

Failure to comply with the contractor code of conduct may result in the cancellation of the contract.

Responses received later than the specified deadline will be disqualified. Failure of the proposer to comply with the minimum mandatory requirements may eliminate its proposal from any further consideration. If a proposer contacted and received information regarding this solicitation from any Huron Valley Schools personnel other than the procurement contact, Huron Valley Schools may disqualify its proposal.

Sealed bids must be received electronically through BuildingConnected on or before Monday, June 15th, 2026, by 11:00 AM.

The school district board of education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, or to award the contract to other than the bidders submitting the best financial bid low bidder, in its sole and absolute discretion.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in an amount of not less than 5% of the total base bid sum, pledging that the bidder will enter into a contract with the Huron Valley School Clark Construction under the terms stated in the bid documents. Bid bonds shall be issued by a bonding company meeting the requirements as described in section **** Performance and Payment Bond. Bid security may also be in the form of certified check made out to the school district. All bidders shall provide a familial disclosure in compliance with MCL **** and attach this information to the bid. The bid shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the board of education of the school district, or the superintendent of the school district. The board of education of the school district will not consider a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized statement. Each bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement certifying that the bidder is not an Iran linked business within the meaning of the Iran Economic Sanctions Act.

Prebid conferences will not be held.

Prebid RFIs are due by 11:00 AM, Monday, June 8th, 2026. RFIs will not be accepted after this date.

The board of education of the school district will not consider a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the board of education of the school district, or the superintendent of the school district. Each bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement certifying that the bidder is not an Iran linked business within the meaning of the Iran Economic Sanctions Act.
