Bids are due by 2:00 PM on June 30, 2026. The project involves Sykes Street Paving Restoration. Bidders must be licensed general contractors in North Carolina. A mandatory pre-bid conference is encouraged. Bidders are responsible for site visits and understanding all conditions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Insurance requirements are detailed in Attachment C.
Bids will be received until 2:00 p. m. , local time, on 30, June 2026.
Payments shall be made within thirty 30 calendar days after approval of the pay application or invoice, provided the application meets all contract requirements.
Contractor warrants that all work shall be performed in accordance with the contract documents and shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship. If any defects are discovered within one year from the date of final completion, or within a longer period as required by law or contract terms, contractor shall promptly correct or replace the defective work at no cost to OWASA.
If the contract is awarded, it will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
The bidder shall be licensed under chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes as a general contractor.
Liquidated damages may be assessed if contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified.
Bidder shall conduct the required site visit during normal working hours, 9:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m. , Monday through Friday.
Conditional, qualified, or restricted bids may be considered nonresponsive. Failure to acknowledge all addenda may result in the bid being considered non responsive.
