Solicitation for
medical gases for the Orlando VA Healthcare System. The contract period is for 12 months, with 4 twelve-month option periods. Delivery locations include multiple VA
facilities. The government guarantees a minimum order of $1,**** in
medical gases during the base year. The maximum contract amount is $2,500,**** for the duration of the contract. Offerors must complete blocks 12, 17, 23, 24, and 302. Offer due date is **** at 2:00 pm EDT. The solicitation is unrestricted and set aside for Department of Veterans Affairs, women-owned small business, small business, and veteran-owned small business. Additional documents are referenced and attached. Payment will be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT). Invoices are to be submitted electronically. The contractor is responsible for providing management, supervision, personnel, services, materials, supplies, transportation, and equipment. All
medical gases must conform to specifications and regulations. Delivery requirements, including delivery times, are specified in the delivery orders. The contractor must provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all items and any new gases. All deliveries are FOB destination. No additional charges for delivery fees, hazardous material fees, fuel surcharges, etc. are allowed. The government reserves the right to inspect or test any supplies or services. The contract is subject to 41 U. S. C. chapter 71, contract disputes. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The contractor must ensure only authorized personnel are delivering
medical gases. Contractor personnel must comply with VA building regulations, policies, and guidelines. Contractor vehicles must be clearly marked. Contractor personnel must wear laminated identification badges. All information generated in performance of this contract becomes property of the government. The contractor shall not release any information without prior written approval of the contracting officer. The contractor must obtain a signed confidentiality certificate from each employee. The contract price includes all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties. The government reserves the right to terminate the contract for its sole convenience.
