Payment is based on contract unit prices per linear foot for fence repair. the department will pay for repairing rightofway fence at the contract unit price per linear foot.

Bidders must be registered with DelDOT and have a performance rating of 85 or higher. bidders with performance rating scores equal to or greater than 85 shall be permitted to bid.

Liquidated damages may be assessed for failure to complete work on time. failure to complete all punch list work identified during the primary and acceptance inspections within the timeframes allotted, will result in the department restarting liquidated damages.

Selection based on criteria including prior experience (50%), key staff qualifications (15%), resources and capability (15%), understanding of DelDOT roadways (10%), and completeness of submission (10%).

Maintenance provider should have a minimum of one year roadway maintenance administrative experience related to litter collection, removal and disposal, and experience with other sponsor-a-highway programs.
