This is a request for emailed bids for 12-month HVAC maintenance services for various systems at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) headquarters office in Bossier City, LA. Bids must be emailed to ***@***. *. * prior to the submission deadline (****). The rfx number (****) must be included in the subject line. Unit price bids must not exceed two digits to the right of the decimal point. Proof of insurance is required before work can commence. The contract may be extended for two additional 12-month periods at the same price, terms, and conditions. The total contract time may not exceed 36 months. The State of Louisiana reserves the right to cancel this contract with 30 days written notice. Vendors must inspect the job site prior to bidding. Additional information regarding this solicitation is attached. Vendor registration should be completed in LAPAC prior to bid submission. Payment is to be made within 30 days after receipt of a properly executed invoice or delivery, whichever is later. The State strongly encourages vendors to participate in accepting electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments. All bid information must be in ink, typewritten, or submitted online via the vendor portal. Bidders must specify the brand and model number of the product offered in their bid. Bidders proposing an equivalent brand or model should submit with the bid information such as illustrations, descriptive literature, technical data sufficient for the State of Louisiana to evaluate quality, suitability, and compliance with the specifications in the solicitation. All bids are subject to provisions of the laws of the State of Louisiana, including but not limited to purchasing rules and regulations, executive orders, standard terms and conditions, special terms and conditions, and specifications listed in this solicitation. The bidder certifies compliance with all instructions to bidders, terms, conditions, and specifications, and further certifies that this bid is made without collusion or fraud. The contractor agrees to adhere to the mandate dictated by the Copeland antikickback act, the clean air act, the energy policy and conservation act, the clean water act, the antilobbying and debarment act. All corporations and limited liability companies must be in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State in order to hold a purchase order and/or contract over $25,000. The price submitted was independently arrived at without collusion.
