Project involves culvert maintenance and stabilization, including retaining wall construction, concrete flowable fill, and rock rip rap. Proposals are due July 24, 2026. An optional pre-proposal conference is on July 1, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the respondent providing the best value to the city. Proposals must be submitted electronically. A bid bond of 5% is required.
Proposals must be received no later than 3:30 pm CST on July 24th, 2026.
The respondent shall warrant that any equipment furnished or work performed shall be free from defects in design, materials, workmanship, and will give successful service under the specified operating conditions for at least twelve (12) months from the date of installation and initial operation, or the manufacturer's warranty, whichever is greater.
The contract will be awarded to the respondent who provides the best value to the city, considering factors such as purchase price, experience, reputation, quality of goods/services, safety record, and financial capability.
Firms must be qualified and capable of providing construction services. Respondents must include written evidence of their qualifications, such as financial data and previous experience.
Liquidated damages are $500 per day.
An optional pre-proposal conference will be held on July 1st, 2026, at 10:00 am CST, which may be the only opportunity for respondents to see the existing conditions of the site prior to the proposal due date.
If a respondent cannot furnish a sample of a proposal item, where applicable, for review, or fails to satisfactorily show an ability to perform, the city can reject the proposal as inadequate.
Questions concerning the requirements or scope of work must be submitted in writing by 12:00 pm CST, July 15th, 2026.
Failure to meet proposal requirements, not complying with communication restrictions, or failing to provide required documentation may lead to disqualification.
The proposed budget for construction costs is $950,****.
