Weld County is seeking bids for chip seal aggregate supply. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 24, 2026. Bids are due by August 6, 2026. The contract may be renewed for up to two additional years. Material must be delivered by December 15, 2026. Bidders must provide an analysis of the aggregate 15 working days prior to pickup/delivery. Insurance requirements are detailed in Schedule E.

Payment is based on unit pricing and acceptance of work. County will pay an amount not to exceed set forth in the exhibits. County will not withhold any taxes from monies paid to the contractor hereunder and contractor agrees to be solely responsible for the accurate reporting and payment of any taxes related to payments made pursuant to the terms of this agreement.
Contractor warrants that the work performed under this agreement will be performed in a manner consistent with the standards governing such services and the provisions of this agreement. Contractor further represents and warrants that all work shall be performed by qualified personnel in a professional manner, consistent with industry standards, and that all services will conform to applicable specifications.
Low price is the key consideration by Weld County in awarding an IFB contract.
Bidders must participate in a mandatory pre-bid conference to be eligible to submit bids. Bids must be typewritten or written in ink on forms prepared by the Weld County Purchasing Division and signed by an authorized person. Corporations must provide legal name and state of incorporation. Evidence of authority may be required. Bidders are expected to examine all conditions, specifications, and instructions.
The contract states that failure to comply with standards and requirements within time limits may result in the county's decision to withhold payment or terminate the agreement. Failure to maintain insurance policies may be considered a material breach of contract and cause for immediate termination.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on July 24, 2026, at 10:00 am via Microsoft Teams. Bidders must participate and record their presence to be eligible.
The results of an analysis of the aggregate, performed by an independent testing laboratory on a representative sample taken in the presence of county personnel, shall be furnished to the county fifteen (15) working days prior to initial product pickup/delivery.
Incomplete or nonresponsive bids will be eliminated from consideration. Late or unsigned bids shall not be accepted or considered. Failure to include required items may result in a bid being incomplete, nonresponsive, and rejected. Submitting exclusions or contingencies may lead to disqualification.
