The Town of Breckenridge is seeking design consulting services for the redesign of Airport Road. The project involves improving the section from Floradora Drive to Breckenridge Terrace Apartments to accommodate increased traffic for vehicles, pedestrians, bicycles, and transit. Key aspects include designing two 12-foot drive lanes, bike lanes or shared use paths, sidewalks, crosswalks, turn lane locations, transit turnouts, and reducing the speed limit to 25 mph. The scope of work includes full design services, conceptual design (30%), preliminary civil plans (60%), final civil plans and specifications (100%), subsurface utility engineering (SUE) plans, drainage reports, construction cost estimates, and bidding services.
