Project involves removal and replacement of concrete pavement on Lincoln Avenue. Bids are due July 10, 2026. Bids will be received electronically via BidNet. A pre-bid conference is not scheduled. Bidders must be licensed contractors in Colorado. Bid security of 5% is required. The contract duration is 60 working days. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
The work will be completed within seventy five 75 working days of the date of the notice to proceed unless the contract time is extended by the city.
Contractor may apply for payment no more frequently than every thirty 30 days for work completed. Upon issuance of a certificate for payment by the project manager, the city shall pay contractor.
Contractor agrees to remedy all defects appearing in the work or developing in the materials furnished and the workmanship performed under this construction contract for a period of one 1 year after the date of acceptance of the work by the city.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest, most responsible and responsive bidder whose evaluation by city indicates to city that the award will be in the best interest of the project.
Bidders may be required to submit a statement of qualifications to verify experience, qualifications, and capacity. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the state of Colorado.
Liquidated damages will be assessed for each day that expires after the time specified for substantial completion.
Bidders are responsible to visit the site to become familiar with local conditions that may affect cost, progress or performance of the work.
If a bidder withdraws its bid after demonstrating a material and substantial mistake, that bidder will be disqualified from further bidding on the work.
