Samples shall be provided to each site during the training or orientation process.

The contractor shall coordinate all laundry pickup and delivery schedules with the hospital representative. Scheduled pickup and delivery will occur Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, between the hours of 7:00 a. m. and 5:00 p. m. The contractor shall ensure that all soiled laundry picked up is laundered or dry cleaned and delivered the following delivery day.

The contractor must be in compliance with the following standards and documentation: Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations for isolation precautions in hospitals, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for laundry in healthcare facilities, and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) regulations. The contractor must also possess Healthcare Linens Accreditation Council (HLAC) certification and provide an annual certificate.

As allowed by FAR ****(a), Contract Terms and Conditions for Commercial Items, Inspection/Acceptance, the government may require reperformance of nonconforming services at no increase in contract price.

The government reserves the right to conduct inspections of the contractor's laundry facilities as required by JCAHO infection control standards.

The contractor will coordinate the delivery, installation and training date with the designated government employee. No deliveries can be made after 4:15 pm. The capability statements are due no later than 4:30 pm CST on May 29, 2026.

The contractor shall deliver necessary items with all installation instructions, warranty documents, and specifications. Warranty coverage documents are listed as a deliverable.

The government is seeking to identify businesses capable of performing the requirement. Vendors responding should submit their capability statement directly demonstrating the company's capability, experience, and ability to provide the PACS eye care system. Indian small business economic enterprises (ISBEs) and other small businesses are highly encouraged to respond.

The notice does not indicate that samples are required.
