The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking bids for pop up archival transmitting tags. Bids must be submitted by January 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST. The contract will commence upon issuance and expire upon delivery and final acceptance. Delivery may be a factor in determining best value award. Inquiries should be made in writing to Margaret Scarborough. The award will be made on an all or none basis. Invoices must be submitted to Texas Parks and Wildlife, Accounts Payable, **** Smith School Road, Austin, Texas **** will be made within 30 days after receipt of a properly prepared invoice or the acceptance of goods/services, whichever is later.
The contract shall commence upon the issuance of a contract by TPWD and automatically expires upon the delivery date agreed upon and final acceptance by TPWD.
Payment normally will be made to the contractor within 30 days after receipt of a properly prepared invoice or the receipt of and the acceptance of goodsservices ordered, whichever is later.
The unit shall be warranted against defects in material and workmanship for the manufacturers standard warranty for government use.
Award will be based on best value criteria and may include, but is not limited to: lowest price, ability, qualifications and experience meeting or exceeding the requirement, delivery service schedule, and past performance.
Only bids submitted by the bid due date, with required submittal documents and meeting qualifications will be considered.
Default in promised delivery days after receipt of order aro without accepted reasons or failure to meet specifications authorizes tpwd to purchase goods and services of this contract elsewhere and charge any increased costs for the goods and services, including the cost of resoliciting, to the contractor.
Samples, when requested, must be furnished free of expense to the state.
