Pointe Coupee Parish Government- La - Agency Bids & RFPs

The Pointe Coupee Parish is seeking engineering services for a parish-wide generator project. The selection process will follow federal, state, and parish requirements. Responses must be received by September 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM Central Standard Time. The selected firm will be required to execute a parish standard contract for engineering services. Interested firms should obtain the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) packet from the parish or the central bidding website. The overall level and scope of services will be determined by the parish. A fixed sum contract will be negotiated with the selected firm. Responding firms must be prepared to provide an audited overhead rate. The project will be awarded to the respondent obtaining the highest recommendation and points based upon a section committee review of the submitted statement of qualifications and work references. Firms must be registered with the Louisiana State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.

Proposals are requested for an on-demand contractor to demolish and remove condemned properties in Pointe Coupee Parish. Contractors must perform all work within 10 days of notice, properly dispose of debris at a DEQ-approved site, and submit dump tickets. Proposals must include a cover letter, proof of insurance (at least $1 million general liability and worker's compensation), and a pricing schedule (including price per square foot for different structure types and price per cubic yard for debris disposal). Candidates must possess or obtain a home improvement registration classification with the Louisiana State Licensing Board of Contractors. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked Proposal - Blighted Property and include three complete sets. Email and fax copies are not accepted. Contractors must have experience in similar work, possess necessary equipment, or be capable of obtaining it within 15 days. A reference list of at least three unrelated customers is required. The parish reserves the right to consider or reject any and all proposals.

Sealed bids will be received by the Pointe Coupee Council on Aging on July 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM, for the construction of a new senior center. Bid documents are available electronically at www. ***. *. * must be submitted in a sealed envelope, including the bidder's name, address, contractor's state license number, and project name. Electronic bids must include a copy of the bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The original must be received within 48 hours of the bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the base bid and all alternates. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on July 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the project site. Contractors must be licensed under LA. R. S. 37: **** for the classification of building construction. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days after receipt of bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond. The Pointe Coupee Council on Aging reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.

Bid opening is scheduled for June 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Pointe Coupee Parish Annex. Bid security of at least 5% of the total bid price is required. Bidders must be licensed under LA R. S. 37:2150-2164, Heavy Construction. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Louisiana State bid law requires that a public entity shall act within 45 days of receipt of bids to award a contract or reject all bids. Execution of the contract shall be within 60 days from the public entity's acceptance of the lowest and responsible bid. Notice to proceed must be issued within 30 days of the execution of the contract.
