The bid must be received and stamped by the purchasing office no later than Friday, April 17, 2026, at 12:01 PM.

The bid will be awarded on an all or none basis.

Vendors must be able to provide a federal W9 form, proof of registration in the E-Verify program, and a certificate of authority to do business in Alabama within 24 hours of request.

At the request of the city prior to award, a sample of the identification may need to be evaluated. At the request of the purchasing department, the vendor shall provide within 7 calendar days a sample of the identification as it would appear on the barricade, as well as, the feet of the barricade, and all hot dipped galvanized prior to being sent to the City of Mobile. If samples are necessary for evaluation, vendor shall provide a minimum of two samples of a type within 7 calendar days of request of the City of Mobile.

The bid must be received and stamped by the purchasing office not later than 12:01 PM, Friday, April 17, 2026. The city desires the unit to be on the lot or to be delivered within two weeks of the bid opening, however will consider waiting for a new unit.

The bidder will list in detail all specifications being bid, a copy of the warranty, and appropriate literature on bid.

Bid will be awarded on all or none basis unless otherwise stated.

Vendors do not need a City of Mobile business license or certificate of authority from the Alabama Secretary of State to submit a bid, but may need to obtain the business license and certificate of authority if applicable, prior to issuance of a purchase order. Vendors are responsible for consulting with the Secretary of State to determine whether a certificate is required. Vendors will be required to provide verification of enrollment in the E-Verify program.

The city reserves the right to inspect the unit prior to bid award.

If the successful vendor's principal place of business is out-of-state, the vendor may be required to have a certificate of authority to do business in the state of Alabama from the Secretary of State prior to issuance of a purchase order. Vendors do not need a city of Mobile business license or certificate of authority from the Alabama Secretary of State, nor the e-Verify for certification to submit a bid, but will need to obtain the business license and certificate of authority, and/or provide the e-Verify certification, if applicable, prior to issuance of a purchase order.

Failure to observe stated instructions and conditions will constitute grounds for rejection of your bid.
