Shields Biddings - Procurement Opportunities

This is a pre-solicitation notice for the procurement of **** guns, over 150mm through 200mm guns, with firing platforms, mounts, and gun shields. The procurement is for ring seal. The solicitation will be issued electronically, and interested parties must periodically access the internet address to obtain any amendments. All contractors providing goods or services to the Department of Defense must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Further information is available online.

Sealed bids are requested for renovations to the Lawrence County Library. Bid documents can be obtained in person or by mail from Waycaster-Dungan Architect & Engineers, PLLC. A $100 deposit is required per set of documents, with the first two sets refundable. Official bid documents can be downloaded electronically. Electronic bids can be submitted. Bid bond security/guarantee (5% of total bid) is required for contracts exceeding $25,**** performance and payment bonds are required. Licensing and other certification of qualifications are required. Non-resident bidders must attach their state's current law pertaining to non-resident contractors. Bids may be withheld for up to 45 days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections (ODRC) is seeking bids for five ballistic shields. The inquiry period begins on **** and ends on **** mandatory site visit is required. Bidders must meet specific requirements, including certifying their ability to complete the project within 30 days of contract signing, describing experience with similar projects, and affirming understanding of project requirements. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source for the repair of specific guns. Interested parties can obtain necessary documents from the DOD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) in Philadelphia, PA. The proposed contract action is subject to Free Trade Agreements, Buy American Act, and WTO Government Procurement Agreement. The government will only award the contract if the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meets the qualification requirements at the time of award.
