Procurement of a 20 Gigabit- per- second ( Gbps) Internet2 Service Provision of a 20Gbps dedicated internet2 connection from the nearest point of presence ( POP) to SIPI. Service must include full IPv4 and IPv6 support and be compliant with Internet2 consortium standards. The circuit must be capable of supporting research- grade applications and cloud platforms. Supply, install, and maintain a managed router at SIPI capable of 20Gbps throughput. Router must support BGP, IPv6, VLAN tagging, QoS, and SNMP v3. Contractor is responsible for initial configuration, ongoing firmware updates, and proactive monitoring. Provision of layer 1 optical and layer 2 ethernet transport from the POP to SIPI. Transport must support redundancy and low- latency service. Fiber must terminate in SIPIs MDF with proper handoff e. g. , QSFP or compatible format.
