This statement of work (SOW) outlines the procurement of a contractor to design, develop, manage, and operate one or more exhibitions in Brazil commemorating the 250th anniversary of
American independence. The exhibitions will focus on the
American English language, its history, and influence. The contract period is one year from the award date, with a one-year option. The exhibitions will take place in several major Brazilian cities. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the exhibitions, including design, curatorial services, production, installation, operation, promotion, and dismantling. The contractor will also manage all activities necessary to deliver a comprehensive and professional program, ensuring alignment with US federal government and America250 standards. The contractor will be responsible for all costs associated with property, equipment, materials, and services required to fulfill this contract. The government will not furnish any property under this contract. Deliverables include an exhibition plan, venue support, marketing strategy, communications plan, monthly reports, financial reports, interim media, exhibition launch, installation operations, visitor metrics, incidents, exhibition dismantling, and a final report. A post-award kickoff meeting will occur within 10 business days of award, and monthly status reviews will be held the first week of each month. Domestic travel within Brazil may be required, and must be pre-approved by the contracting officer representative (COR). All services shall be priced under a firm fixed-price structure.
